Review: M & M Moving moved me from the North End to, well to the North End.  But, they had to move all my stuff down five flights of stairs at the old apartment and up one flight of stairs at the new apartment, all while navigating the narrow hallways the North End is notorious for.

Marcin and his two employees were on time, polite, exceedingly helpful, and amazingly efficient.  They estimated that the move would take 1.5 to 2 hours and they had everything finished in an hour and ten minutes.  Nothing got broken, nothing got lost, and even before the move Marcin was incredibly polite and available to answer questions.  

I would highly recommend M & M Moving for any Boston-area moves.  I'm still in shock at how little we paid compared to how amazing the service was.  If you want efficient, friendly, budget-friendly movers, look no further than M & M Moving.  Seriously, stop looking.  Call them now. - Kendra - North End

Review: If the thought of moving makes you nauseous - consider these guys the Pepto Bismol of movers.

They were incredibly efficient, personable, and most importantly CAREFUL with my belongings. They showed up early (but only after calling first) and lugged my belongings down three flights of stairs IN THE RAIN. Then expertly packed the belongings into a storage container maximizing the space - and being sure that things were stowed safely for its 1500 mile journey.

If I didn't have the packing material....they had it. If I hadn't thought of it...they did. They were great movers, but also a wonderful source of peace of mind during a stressful move.

In a nutshell - three guys were able to move a two-bedroom apartment in an hour and a half. Which would have taken my able bodied friends and relatives probably a full day.

They were great. They were inexpensive. And they are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Review: This is the second time I've used M&M Moving. That should tell you something right there. Marcin and crew were on-time, professional, friendly, and super accommodating. They handled my belongings with care, have a great sense of humor and just made the dreadful process of moving not so dreadful. They are also some of the fastest guys around. If you're someone who is prepared (boxes packed, no loose ends) and ready to go when they get there, you'll be packed and moved in no time! Economical, yes! I am a 3x repeat customer of M&M Moving.  Every move with them was different and has increased in difficulty, but every time M&M has responded to my needs with a quick reply and a VERY fair quote.  I really like that they give a flat rate rather than an hourly one with a travel fee/other hidden costs. It makes the experience much less stressful and much easier to budget for.  Marcin and his workers are extremely fast and professional, and above all understanding, patient, and kind. There are always complications when moving, but they are prepared to handle them all: one time my platform bed frame wouldn't fit out the door and they took out tools they had on hand to disassemble it in 2 seconds, and reassembled it just as quickly when we got to my new place. That alone would have taken me hours! Moving day can be one of the most stressful experiences there is, but M&M make it painless. Review: M&M is amazing. AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING. They were inexpensive, reliable, and great at communication. Because of their low price, we could afford to have them pack us up as well as move us, and that made our move so much nicer.

But they get the fifth star for sheer industrious, hard work. The elevator at our new apartment was out for most of the morning - Marcin and his associate (I believe it's his dad) did not hesitate. They brought all of our stuff up the stairs - without a complaint. Review: My roommate and I recently used M&M Movers after they were recommended to us by a previous client. We both have nothing but positive things to say.
They were in touch the morning of the move, fast, handled our belongings with care, and moved more items than we initially expected we'd have. They had all of the right equipment and even hoisted my full bed 4 stories into our apartment- they took off and replaced the window to do so.

Review: I have to re-iterate all that has been said. The movers were fantastic. They responded to emails within a day, arrived punctually, had everything one would need for moving, and moved my apartment incredibly quickly. They also helped me assemble new furniture and their rates were extremely reasonable (you can email them your list of furniture/boxes and they'll quote you a rate without any hidden costs). On top of all that, they were exquisitely polite, friendly, and helpful--i had to return some furniture that the furniture company made a mistake with, and they helped me take care of it. You can't go wrong picking them!

Review: My experience with Marcin Papla and his staff at M&M Moving was exceptional! The move was scheduled for September 1st, one of the busiest and most challenging days in Boston on which to move. Marcin and his staff arrived earlier then their estimated start time and worked efficiently abnd attentively. They were extremely courteous and meticulous, ensuring that all of the furniture and boxes arrived safely at the new house. The time efficiency was fabulous - it was a very quick process. It was helpful to Marcin to provide a comprehensive list of what is being moved so that he can provide an accurate estimate of time and the appropriate number of staff for the job. Review: I am a senior citizen and have moved many times - M&M movers are the best movers I have ever used. They were very careful picking up and transporting to my destination, and very generous with their time in trying to fit some large pieces up to the stairs at the destination. they were absolutely great !! Review: If I could provide a higher score to emphasize the quality of service received then I would not hesitate. Five out of five is excellent and that is what they deliver-total excllence. Having moved a number of times in my life I think I qualify as somewhat of an expert on moving companies. M& M did not alter the price that was contracted-no alterations or adjustments to the agreement. They handled the merchandise, furniture and other belongings as if it was their very own. Extremely friendly and helpful and very courteous only begins to speak to their client service committment. Review: I was moving into a new house. I have a bunch of antiques and expensive furniture, which I wanted to make sure was safe. My sister recommended M&M moving. I wasn't disappointed. They were great. They took care of all of my sutff and even packed up everything up. This wasn't an easy move (I know, I used to move furniture in college). But, they did a great job. Not a single thing was damaged. They made sure everything was put in the right place in the new house, even stuff that needed to go to the third floor. I am very satisfied.

Review: We decided to move from MA to NJ, Got quote from diff. movers on internet, M&M did quote on basis of seeing item and that give us satisfaction then the one we got through internet. They came on time, took care of furniture packing, move to NJ in less then 24 hours and assambled all again. We have not to worry for anything. Review: Found M&M by chance at the last minute. They did a fantastic job, getting the move done quickly and efficiently. They worked hard, and did not let any challenges posed by our narrow, tall rowhouse with winding staircase stand in their way. Our grill just wouldn't fit, and couldn't be easily disassembled. Review: They did a great job for me 5/2/08. On time (5-10 minutes early), had everything needed to pack my stuff safely, worked extremely quickly (I never saw people move so fast for so long), and found a creative way to get my futon couch through a too-small stairway/entrance that anyone else might have given up on. Not a scratch on anything and my plants were gently handled. And they are picking up the packing boxes now that I have unpacked so they will be reused - good for the environment.
